FernLeaf offers a variety of After School opportunities for our families including:

Extended Care
(Affordable After School Care)
FernLeaf's "traditional"after school care option is called Extended Care. We offer extended care EVERY school day until 6:00 PM. Students spend a lot of time outside in free play, are given a healthy snack and may participate in a guided activity if they so choose. This is an excellent, affordable option for families who are unable to pick up their students by the end of the school day.
Academic & Interest Clubs
FernLeaf offers a variety of academic AND interest clubs for currently enrolled students. Part of our mission is "to engage the unique passions and aptitudes" of our school community. We do this through offering a myriad of clubs and activities, often taught by our Teachers who have a specific passion they would like to share with the students! Adventure Sports
FernLeaf's adventure sports program provides students with opportunities to develop life-long skills while participating in sports and activities that take advantage of the natural beauty of western NC. These offerings change seasonally and with student interest.

Athletics
FernLeaf participates in the local Hospitality League in 5th-8th grade offering co-ed options for students. In high school students compete in a local league with other charter and private school. Offerings are fairly consistent year to year but may change based on student interest.
