Abby Wilner

Abby’s passion for working with children began at a summer camp in Brevard, North Carolina in 2021. Only a couple of hours from Charlotte, where she’d grown up, she found a new home in the beautiful blues and greens of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In between years of college, she returned every summer, encouraging youth to spend time outside and away from technology (and taking the same advice herself)! 

She has since acquired her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University, and cannot wait to explore everything Asheville has to offer. Grateful for the opportunity to continue working with children, Abby looks forward to working with students in small groups, offering assistance as they develop their skills in math. And of course, bringing the summer camp energy, she will be running around with them outside as an afterschool activity instructor.

In her free time, Abby can be found writing, singing, exploring the outdoors, and practicing photography.
