Anna Lisa Hart
3rd & 4th Grades Assistant Teacher
Anna Lisa was born and raised in Valle Crucis, North Carolina where her love and appreciation for the natural world began. Her passion for assisting teachers can be traced back to her K-8 school where she found herself appreciating the hard work, dedication, and supportive attitudes of her own teachers.
Early experiences of traveling to Panama and Mexico for mission trips instilled a deep sense of service which led to her decision to join a group that went to help clean up the town of Biloxi, Mississippi following the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina. This experience solidified her passion for helping others in their time of need.
Anna Lisa is a graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington where the interdisciplinary approach taught her about the power of inclusion, open-mindedness, and creativity. She majored in psychology and went on to work in applied behavioral analysis therapy, preschool education, and behavioral intervention.
When she is not busy with school responsibilities, she enjoys writing, playing soccer, practicing yoga, hiking, and Friday movie nights with her family.
