Eden Almog
Kindergarten Assistant Teacher
Eden’s passion for working with children started when she was just a child herself. She babysat the younger neighborhood children and put together elaborate neighborhood parties for them starting from when she was just 10 years old. She grew up in Venice Beach, California, where she spent just about every day in the ocean. Eden also had an early passion for emergency medicine and worked for many years as an EMT in one of the busiest cities of Los Angeles County. During her time saving lives as an EMT, she was also one of the main instructors in the JR Paramedic program, where they would spend a week with each elementary school in their county, teaching all of the grade levels what to do in an emergency situation, how to stay calm, showing the children all of the equipment on the ambulance and how to call 911 if there was ever an emergency. Eden continued her education in the emergency medicine field and went to Paramedic Training Institute, to become a paramedic.
After many years, Eden decided to step away from the daily physical and mental challenges that working in the 911 field presented and that is when she started her career working with children, both as a nanny and a teacher’s assistant at an elementary school in Malibu, California. Eden and her husband Tomer have two kids together, Ilan (11) and Mia Moore (8). Eden also has 2 step kids, Noa (19), Ariel (18), along with 2 bonus kids, Jake (21) and Benny (17), a Golden Husky named Indie (aka Indiana Bones) and a Bengal cat named Marvel.
Eden and her family very recently moved to western North Carolina and absolutely love it here! When she is not busy working as a kindergarten assistant, Eden loves to travel the world with her family, play card and board games, hike to see new waterfalls, garden, and decorate themed cakes.
