Jeffery Micchelli
5th - 11th Grades Exceptional Children Teacher
Jeff was born and raised in southern Maryland in between the Chesapeake Bay and the Patuxent River. He spent most of time crabbing, skateboarding and listening to music with his older brother, Anthony and his parents, Mike and Alice.
Jeff went off to pursue his undergraduate degree in Geography at Frostburg State University.
On a whim with a friend, they decided to move to the Southwest after graduation. Jeff soon got a job with the Coconino Conservation Corp as a sawyer and a trail worker.
When a friend got married in Topsail Island, Jeff was reunited with some more old friends there and they decided to start a band in Wilmington, NC. Jeff has been involved with many musical projects since then in Asheville and Flagstaff. He enjoys playing guitar, banjo, trumpet and saw.
As music became more of a hobby, he decided to return to northern Arizona (for the third time) and work towards a graduate degree in Special Education after spending many years as an EC assistant and in-home health care provider.
Currently in his 10th year of teaching, he lives with his wonderful partner Amy and their son, Everett. They have two cats, Jazzman and Red Blanket. They enjoy their time together playing board games, taking walks and visits with Everett’s grandparents.
