Robert Hinchliffe

Roberts' passion for teaching was sparked through coaching and instructing sports. He grew up in the Asheville area and enjoyed many of the amenities Asheville had to offer. He spent time traveling locally and exploring what the area had to offer.

Robert has spent time working as a ski Instructor and for N.C. School of Science and Math Summer Ventures program. These experiences have helped prepare him to lead a class through project-based learning, outdoor instruction, and community service.

Robert is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Sports Science and Coaching. When he is not busy teaching, he can be found mountain biking, skiing, playing disc golf, or spending time with family.
