Will Hinchliffe

Will is a graduate of NC State, where he majored in Geology.  His passion for environmental science can be traced back to college, romping around the country studying the stories rocks tell us about Earth’s history. He also discovered outdoor adventure sports in school. Combining these interests led to working for the National Park Service and in outdoor recreation/education and prepared him to kickstart the outdoor adventure program at FernLeaf and teach a variety of environmental-oriented classes.

Will grew up here in Henderson County. Outside of FernLeaf, he can be found chasing whitewater or living out of a canoe, tackling wild rivers alongside his wife, Ella.
